Here we are in 2011....

Hope everyone had a wonderful new year! I am so looking forward to spring :) Looking forward to getting my garden started!

We tried a great Cake recipe over the holiday and I thought you may like to give it a try as well:

Sugar and Spice Cake

1 pkg(18.25 oz) white cake mix
1(16 oz) container sour cream(or substitute w/yogurt)
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 tsp apple pie spice (I used allspice)
1 tsp vanilla

Beat first 6 ingredients till smooth. Pour into 3 greased and floured cake pans(8 inch). Bake @ 350 for about 20-25 minutes, till you think it's done. Cool for about an hour or longer - has to be really cool so it's easier to frost. Frost with buttercream frosting - between the layers, top and sides. Delicious cake!
