Summer is here...

I can not believe how long it's been since I've posted. Summer weather is really here and think to stay... It was 90 on June 1 and it has promised to be that again this week. I signed up for a sewing/quilting class and went to the first session on Wednesday. I didn't do this because I need to learn(I can sew and quilt)but rather to get me motivated to finish up these projects I have half completed. The next time I post hopefully I will have some projects completed and can post some new pictures. I hope everyone had a great week and an exciting weekend planned!! Weekend is here.......

Hope everyone has something exciting planned. We're going to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds for the Flea Market. It's a large event and promises to have something for everyone. We went once a few years ago and had a great time....lots of neat things to see/buy and tons of good food!! I'll let y'all know how it goes. Take Care. Hugs and Blessings, Dawn

Progress since last post...

Basement is painted. The walls I painted with Chocolate Turtle(sounds funky huh) paint and the concrete floor is painted and clear coated with brown. Just waiting on Lee now to get the rest of the doors hung and then we'll get the furniture down there. I'll keep you posted and get some pictures hopefully by weekend!! Have a Blessed Week!!!

Been Awhile....

Not sure how I lost track for this long. I've been busy crocheting and sewing quilts together. Here's the picture of my latest crocheted doily.

Jeffrey and Megan sent us a picture of Logan today. We are so amazed how much he has grown since we see them in November....so sweet he is!!

Lee and I both have the day off tomorrow and we plan to spend Valentine's Day and Our 5th Wedding Anniversary painting in the basement....hope to have it completed by tomorrow evening.
