Our New Deck

We came close to finishing our deck yesterday...all we lack is one board that we need to pick up this week and the stairs. We are not quite sure yet where the stairs are going because we have not decided whether or not we are going to put a garage at the end of the driveway. We looked at different options this weekend and now need to make a decision. I'm off to work on my Christmas Sequin Calendars....I hope everyone is having a Blessed Sunday!

Round Ripple Finished

I've been a while getting back here to post the picture of the finished afghan however, it's here now. I just started working on my sequin calendars for Christmas gifts. I have several other projects in the works to include an afghan to donate for a Breast Cancer Raffle, Cross Stitch Pillowcases, Christmas Ornaments and I am collecting information and planning to start a Shawl Ministry here in town. You know what, I just looked at the clock and right now if I do not hush and get moving I'm gonna be late for work......have a great week and I'll talk to y'all soon!

Monday Blues...

Our weekend was quiet we started setting posts for a new deck off the back of our house which will replace the old one that was here when we purchased the house in April. I worked on a pile of ironing and I am nearly finished with my round ripple blanket. I should be able to post a picture of that by mid week and then I'll work on the Breast Cancer Afghan.

I talked to Logan on Sunday....it was his first birthday and the celebration for him went well. They may all try to come here to Tennessee for a visit in between Thanksgiving and Christmas if we can get flights and all arranged between now and then.

Oh well, I'm off to have another cup of coffee and finish getting ready for my Monday. I hope everyone has a great week.

Quiet Day...

Several different projects in the works however, the round ripple is the one I'm closest to finishing. All is quiet here on the home front so I think I'll work at that for a bit....

Weekend is here...

We have a busy weekend ahead with the family sale and there are several fall festivals really close that I plan to visit. Last week I finished putting together two quilt tops and now I just need to decide on the backing for those. I filled the bird feeders this morning and with the temperature change I'm sure they will need to be filled more often. I just finished my first of 36 crocheted squares for the local breast cancer raffle. I'll post a picture when it is a bit closer to being finished. I'm gonna go work on my scarf crochet along....I think I may need this scarf sooner that anticipated.....
